The Playful Puppy
In the yard, a puppy plays,
With a wagging tail so fast.
Chasing balls and running free,
Joy that’s sure to last.
He digs and sniffs and rolls around,
In the grass so green.
With floppy ears and sparkling eyes,
A happier pup you've never seen.
He barks and yips with pure delight,
At butterflies and birds.
Exploring every nook and cranny,
With excited little words.
At night he cuddles in his bed,
A tired little fur.
Dreaming of his playful days,
With a contented purr.
