The Plump Blueberry a Kids Poem

The Plump Blueberry

In the fields, where blueberries grow,
Plump and round and sweet.
Little gems of indigo,
A summertime treat.

Picked from bushes, one by one,
They fill up baskets quick.
Underneath the summer sun,
We gather each plump pick.

In pancakes, muffins, or fresh pies,
Their flavor bursts with glee.
A bowl of them is no surprise,
Pure joy for you and me.

Healthy, tasty, small and blue,
A berry we adore.
Each bite a taste of morning dew,
We always want some more.
